The Role
The HR Generalist II is a key member of the Human Resources team responsible for managing and executing core HR programs that support the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Director of HR, this role leads the coordination and delivery of critical people operations including recruiting, orientation, onboarding, offboarding, employee recognition programs, and HR-led events and engagement initiatives.
The HR Generalist II serves as a trusted resource to employees and managers, ensuring HR processes are executed with consistency, professionalism, and a high level of confidentiality. This role plays an important part in creating a positive employee experience by supporting smooth transitions into and out of the organization, fostering employee engagement through recognition and events, and maintaining organized, compliant HR practices.
Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing to a collaborative, service-oriented HR function
Roles and Responsibilities
Recruiting, Orientation, Onboarding and Offboarding
- Own New Hire Orientation
- Own Interview Toolkit
- Own Recruiting Process
- Manages job postings
- Manages interview process and conducts HR phone screen
- Manages background checks, I9s, any other essential orientation paperwork
- Manages verbal and written offer letter process
- Proficient in sourcing and working with staffing agencies and recruiters to fill contractor roles
- Proactively builds pipelines for key SIG roles
- Collaborates with managers on job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Collaborates with managers on 90-day plans
- Manages probationary period check-ins
- Own Offboarding Process
- Exit Interviews
- Collaborates with IT and Accounting
- Own Tenure Recognition program
- Own Employee Recognition program
- Manage all HR Events, listed below but not limited to:
- Annual Summer Company Party
- D&I Culture Potluck

- Proficient with laws, regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
